It lives for 8 to 15 days. A fruitfly has two wings. It eats fruit. It can be found in gardens, fruit stands, farms, and a fruit bowl in your house. It is black but could be brown or tan. It is not a social insect. It lives wherever there is fruit. It is harmful because it eats fruit and damages farm crops. It has red eyes. The fruit fly lays its eggs in fruit. It is 1/8 inch in size.
Let's become an entymologist and discover how bugs are helpful (YAY!) and how they are harmful (EEWW). Use your research paper to record your answers. Once you've found the answers, be sure to make a detailed drawing of your spider or insect.
