Your personality type can be a good indicator for a career choice. Here are 6 personality traits and some possible job choices.
Are you a CREATOR (Artistic Type)?
You may wish to explore a career as a writer, photographer, artist, film director, journalist, English teacher, make-up artist, dancer, or musician.
Are you a HELPER (Social Type)?
You may wish to explore a career as a nurse, doctor, customer service representative, guidance counselor, social worker, recreational therapist, police officer, or waiter/waitress.
Are you a DOER (REalistic Type)?
You may wish to explore a career as a carpenter, electrician, park ranger, landscaper, laboratory technician, gym teacher or chef.
Are you a PERSUADER (Enterprising Type)?
You may wish to explore a career as a politician, lawyer, corporate executive, real estate agent, salesperson, police chief or travel agent.
Are you a THINKER (Investigative Type)?
You may wish to explore a career as a mathematician, scientist, laser technician, dentist, mechanic, IRS (tax) agent, insurance adjuster, computer repair technician, bank teller, or airplane pilot.
Are you an ORGANIZER (Conventinal Type)?
You may wish to explore a career as an accountant, adminstrator, pharmacist, data entry technician, medical records technician, librarian, or office assistant.
During guidance class, you have been working on your Individual Learning Plan. You have completed a career self-assessment, explored your likes and dislikes, and reflected on your own personality traits to begin to focus on possible careers. Now it's time to find out what someone in that occupation does, what is needed for skills, education and training. What's the average starting salary?
Turn to page 17 of your Individual Learning Plan Packet and write your name and today's date.

Find 10 INTERESTING FACTS about your career.
BE SURE TO identify the SOURCE OF INFORMATION -
BOOK: title of the book, the author and copyright
WEBSITE: title of the website, copyright date and date accessed
Don't forget to fill in the EDUCATION NEEDED and the AVERAGE STARTING SALARY.
