Students practiced locating, accessing and evaluating information resources in a variety of formats. Each student became the class expert on an endangered species from New England. There were so many species to choose from! Individuals worked on researching their chosen species and reporting on why it was special, why it was endangered or threatened and what human beings were doing to help or reverse the problem. An editor in chief was chosen to combine the reports. We made decisions as a group on how to format the pages and then the group presentation was uploaded to Issuu.com to create an ebook to share with the world.
