  1. You will create a multimedia Google Slide presentation with the information that you find. The presentation must include the following IN SPANISH:

 

Slide 1

 

  • The name of the Country (make it look nice)
  • A map of the country
    • mark and label the Capital City on the map (and any other major cities)
    • If the country borders any oceans label them also.

Slide 2

  • a picture of the country’s flag
  • a sound clip or video clip of the country’s National Anthem

Slide 3

  • the name and a photo of the country’s president
  • describe the country’s form of government

Slide 4

  • describe the country’s relationship with the U.S.
  • geographic size of the country compared to the U.S.

Slide 5

  • the country’s current population (as of 2007-2008)
  • average life expectancy
  • major ethnic groups religions, and languages spoken

Slide 6

  • at least 10 pictures of the people and places in that country with some descriptive text

Slide 7

  • list the country’s major export products (What does the country produce to sell to other countries)

  • List the major food items produced and consumed in that country (what do most people eat most of the time).

 

  • This slide should contain all your works cited in MLA format.

Options

  • Include one of the following options:

FOOD   

  • Find a recipe for a dish that is common in that country
  • Prepare the dish at home and bring it to class for everyone to sample
  • Hand in a copy of the recipe and the source info.

MUSIC  

  • Find a sample of music that is common in that country
  • Perform a musical number in class. (Sing, Play an instrument, or Dance)
  • Hand in a printed copy of the song or music and/or the source info.

GAMES

  • Find a game that is common in that country
  • Prepare whatever is needed to play the game in class

Hand in a printed copy of the instructions and source information.

 

 

  1. On a pre-arranged date, you will present the slideshow in class along with any food and/or performances.
