Edgewood Highland School Library: Sergeant Reckless

The DMZ stands for The Korean Demilitarized Zone. 

It splits the Korean peninsula in half, creating the a

buffer zone between North and South Korea.

Facts About Reckless

• Original Korean Name:  Ah Chim Hai (means Flame of the Morning)
• Bought for $250 from the track 
• Favorite Foods:  Scrambled eggs, Hershey bars, candy
• Had 3 foals:  Fearless, Dauntless, and Chesty (named after a marine who was able to ride her)
