Borrowing Library Items
Students in Kindergarten and Grade 1 may borrow one book at a time and they may keep the book for one week. Students in Grades 2-5 may borrow 2 items at a time and they may keep the items for two weeks. They may borrow additional materials for projects with permission. Students with items that are overdue more than a month may not take out materials until all overdue items are returned or replacement fees are paid.
Late Fees and Lost/Damaged Materials
The library does not charge fees for late books. However, replacement fees are charged if a book is lost or damaged beyond reasonable repair.
Overdue Notices
Reminder notes will be sent home with students in Kindergarten - Grade 2 on the day the items are due. Please send the library items to school as soon as possible so the student can borrow new items. Contact Mrs. Ouellette if you have questions or if you believe the material has already been returned.
