Metcalf Elementary School Summer Reading Challenge

Take the Summer Reading Challenge

How to Participate in the Metcalf Summer Reading Challenge

  • Choose 3 books this summer to enjoy. We have included lists of suggested titles to help you choose but you are welcome to find your own books.
  • Complete an activity for each book that you have read. This will act as your proof that you have in fact read the book.
  • All responses (paper and electronic) are due by Friday, August 31, 2018. Students who complete their responses on paper must turn in their 3 response sheets (or bookmark for grade 2 students) to their classroom teacher by August 31st. Students who successfully complete the Summer Reading Challenge will receive recognition at the beginning of the school year!
