The Bain Library has more than 80 books about careers. You can find them in the nonfiction section. If our library does not have the career book you need, you can request an inter-library loan from another RICAT school. Ask Mrs. Grabbert for help if you need it.

WayToGoRI has lots of career information, including a career interest inventory. (you must complete a free registration to use this site).
Take a career interest survey from Minnesota State. This survey lets you rate activities you enjoy, your personal qualities, and school subjects you like. Then you can see which career clusters are a match for your interests.

Explore different careers through career profiles and videos. Click Occupation Profile. You may enter an occupation or click List of Occupations to choose from a variety of career ideas.
From the home page, you can choose to search the “Career Database” for a career of your choice. You may either SEARCH by entering the search term, such as “fashion design” or “bicycle repair” or “pediatrician”, or you may BROWSE the list of 902 careers. Once you have chosen your career to research, myplan.com gives you a job description, job requirements, significant points and salary information. These are four of the five requirements for your project!
