An annual contest by the National Press Photographers Association that showcases exemplary photo, video, and web site work. You can browse past winners by category (Best Photojournalism of the Year, Best Published Picture Story, etc.) but you cannot search by picture content or even by photographer name.
The collections of the Prints & Photographs Division include photographs, fine and popular prints and drawings, posters, and architectural and engineering drawings. While international in scope, the collections are particularly rich in materials produced in, or documenting the history of, the United States and the lives, interests, and achievements of the American people.
News21 is a program of the Carnegie Corporation of New York and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation that is helping to change the way journalism is taught in the U.S. and train a new generation of journalists capable of reshaping the news industry. It is headquartered at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. The site includes the results of national investigations conducted by students.
