Each student will be given a topic and randomly assigned to either argue for or against it.
Step 1: First, you will use the CHSE Library website to find information about your topic. You will use a graphic organizer to help you plan your argument. This organizer will help you outline your main ideas and the facts you will use to support your position.
Step 2: After that, you will use notecards to write down your ideas in more detail. On each notecard, you should explain your reasons and give examples or facts to support your argument.
Your goal is to clearly explain your opinion and use facts to back it up.
