Cranston High School East Library: Stark - Senior Research Project January 2023

Assignment Information

PROMPT: How can we better value nature through our daily behaviors?

(Think of a daily behavior that the average person may not know is damaging to nature.  For example, people may not think about reducing their use of plastic bags when cleaning up after their dogs or may not consider the consequences of constantly upgrading their phones and other technology).

Other examples:

  • not littering
  • using paper or cloth bags instead of plastic bags at the grocery store
  • volunteering for clean up projects (Save the Bay)
  • supporting or becoming involved in an established foundation which helps the community to protect nature
  • nature/habitat conservation
  • develop your own initiative
