HOW DO I USE AN ENCYCLOPEDIA??
An encyclopedia is a set of books with articles on many topics arranged in alphabetical order.
To find an article, look at the first letter of your topic.
Each book in an encylopedia has a letter on the spine. Find the book with the same letter that matches what you want to find.
Use the guide words at the top of the page to find your topic. Then look for the article.
Now that your research is finished, you are ready to begin your paper slide show.
Mrs. Gaiewski will introduce the process with a short video that will show you how to create a paper slide show.
You and your partner can each do half the work!
You will need:
*A cover slide with the name of your landform or waterway, your first names and your grade.
You will need separate slides for the
*Definition
*How the landform or waterway is formed
*Properties
*One example
*A slide that says "THE END"
When your slides are finished, practice reading your paper slide show. When you are ready, we will record it.
HAVE FUN!!
