America has a scary clown problem. Last month, the Two-Way reported on a spate (a large number of similar things or events appearing or occurring) of creepy-clown sightings across America. The reports were unsettling even for those who don't suffer coulrophobia ( irrational fear of clowns).  In the weeks since, the clown situation — there's no way around it — has gotten worse.
