Clayville Elementary School Library: RI Children's Book Awards

Pre K- 5 School


Annually children in grades 3 to 5 have the opportunity to vote for their favorite book from a ballot of 20 selections nominated for the Rhode Island Children’s Book Award by a panel of librarians, reading specialists and teachers. Children vote as part of their class or with their local public library. 

Voting Starts February and ends in early March.

***NEW*** this year the Scituate Elementary School's RICBA Challenge!

Each student that reads 10 of the RICBA by March 2021 and completes a Google Form for each book will receive a special edition 2021 Scituate Elementary School RICBA Challenge T-Shirt (see below).


  • Student must read at least 10 of the RICBA books by March 2021 (exact date TBD)

  • Student must fill out the Google Form below for each book read. (Coming Soon)
