Fifth grade Power Hour in the library spent the semester researching a topic of their choice using the IIM method of research. They took their notes, compiled photos and videos on their topics, created storyboards and scripts, recorded voice overs, and created their own documentaries on their topics using iMovie for iPad.
We learned a lot along the way, including the importance of organization in our research, having a good script, and keeping our projects small and manageable. Here are our final products.
