During the third quarter in Power Hour, third graders worked extremely hard on an Olympics and country research project. Each student was assigned a country that was participating in the 2018 Winter Olympics. Students spent weeks researching their countries in addition to following their progress during the Olympics.
Once their research was complete, students worked on creating scripts for their news reports, and finding photos to accompany their scripts.
The final product is a news report on their country's participation in the Olympics, done using green screen software, just like the pros! We hope you enjoy!
