Rhode Island Teen Book Award Voting:

  • Each year, a list of Rhode Island Teen Book Award Nominees is created- narrowed down after reading many newer young adult publications in all genres.
  • Students from around the state are given the opportunity to vote for the next Rhode Island Teen Book Award Winner.
  • In order for students to participate in the voting, they have to read at least 3 nominees.
  • Voting typically takes place in February.
  • Votes are collected in the North Smithfield High School library and sent to the committee to be officially counted.
