DEI stands for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

These are three of the district's core values, which guided the creation of our strategic plan. The committee spent a lot of time trying to define these terms and came up with the following:

• Diversity - appreciating the differences among members of our school community
• Equity - ensuring that all students have the opportunities, experiences, and resources to excel
• Inclusion - appreciating differences among members of our school community

This quarterly newsletter is for adults in the Jamestown Schools community. We are sharing resources to help you understand these values, report on what these values look like and sound like in our schools today, and provide ways to foster these values in our community.
