The mission of the technology and library media program is to provide assistance and instruction to enhance students information literacy skills so they may explore electronic and print resources necessary to strengthen and support academic study and personal interests.
Students are welcome to use the library before first period class, throughout the school day (with a pass from their teacher) or after school. Students should always sign in and leave their passes at the circulation desk.
Students should conduct themselves in an appropriate manner, and should be careful not to distract other students who may be working in the library.
35 Passes are available each ac-Lab on a first come first serve basis.
Passes can be received in-person up until 8:15am.
You must come to the library with school work to complete while you are here.
Once in the library, you must stay for the entirety of ac-lab.
Furniture must remain in place, please do not move it.
Please sit properly on all furniture.
Water bottles are the only food or drink allowed, do not bring any other food or drink into the library.
Students should conduct themselves appropriately.
Please be careful not to distract other students who may be working in the library.

RILINK Consortium
The CHS Library is a member of the RILINK Consortium (RI Library Information Network for Kids.) As a member, students, faculty and staff are able to borrow books from nearly every school in the State including elementary, middle and high school level. Instruction on the use of RILINK is located on the library home page under the CHS Library Catalog. If you have questions on how to request items please ask Mrs. O'Rourke or email orourkedolores@coventryschools.net. ILL books are delivered every Friday.
