When searching for a book, use the search bar for Follett Destiny.
Search terms: country's name (keyword), cultures of the world (series).
Use the table of contents to find the different sections within the books.
Also, use the index located in the back of the book to locate specific information within the book.
Use CultureGrams database to explore different areas of the world. CultureGrams offers information on the country including current statistics, cultural aspects, customs, as well as pictures and personal interviews on an array of topics.
To begin, click on an area of the world.
You will be creating citations for two required sources for this project.
1) One citation will be for your book source--most likely from the Cultures of the World series.
** Keep in mind: there are usually several authors for each book, so include each author, AND make sure you note the series title which is different than the book title. Example: book title: Japan ; series title: Cultures of the World.
2) The second citation will be from your database source--CultureGrams.
**When creating this citation, step one of NoodleTools citation is "Where is it?"--select database; step two is "What is it?"--select original content.
