Sixth graders attend one quarter of information literacy class during their "specials" rotation. This is an opportunity for the students from the three different elementary schools to receive an in depth orientation to the Middle School library and its resources. Students practice locating, evaluating and selecting information from a variety of print and digital resources. Emphasis is placed on evaluating print and digital information sources. They conduct research and create a digital project to present the information they have found.
We work together in class. Follow along by becoming an observer in your student's classes.
