A biome is a large ecosystem. Biomes can be found on land or in water. You will be researching one Biome and with the information you get, you will be making and presenting a poster board on your Biome.
Your poster must include the following information:
Name of Biome
Get a picture of the biome (print it out)
Where on the Earth can you find this biome? (include a picture or show it on a map)
Describe its climate (temperatures and rain/snow amounts):
Examples of 3 plants that live in this biome (include at least one picture)
Examples of 3 animals that live in this biome (include at least one picture)
How do these animals and plants survive in this biome? Give 3 examples of adaptations (characteristics they have that help them)?
If you were traveling to this biome, what would you pack in order to be prepared for the climate? Why? (list at least 5 items)
List at least 3 sources that you used to help you find information. These can be websites, books, etc.
