- Students will demonstrate their understanding of their historical figure through scholarly research.
- Students will demonstrate their understanding of outside research documentation through parenthetical citations in their constructed responses.
- Students will demonstrate their understanding of outside research documentation in an MLA formatted Works Cited page.

Formatting Guidelines:
- You must write your response according to the “LDC Informational Rubric.” We will review this rubric in class.
- Your response MUST contain relevant and accurate historical content. Your response will need at least two parenthetical citations.
- You must attach a properly formatted MLA Works Cited page indicating at least two outside academic sources (outside = sources not provided as part of our routine coursework).
- At least one of your sources must come from the library research databases.
- General knowledge encyclopedias (For example: Wikipedia, Britannica, World Book, CultureGrams, or a classroom textbook) are not considered robust academic sources. However, you can access these for background knowledge.
- The use of AI technology is not acceptable in the creation of this product. The final product will be checked by turnitin.com on Canvas, which checks for plagiarism.
