The Table of Contents tells me the titles or descriptions on certain pages and the page number I can find that section on.  It can be found in the beginning of the book.

What is a Glossary?

A glossary tells you the meaning of words in a book.  It's like a little dictionary!  You can find it in the back of the book.

What is an Index?

The Index tells you on what pages you can find certain words.  It is in the back of the book.

For example, if I wanted to find what Ladybugs eat, I would look at the word "food" and then go the page or pages.
