Summer Math Review
- iReady Summer Learning Packets-Mathematics
This summer, students will continue to have access to their personalized learning from iReady via their MyPath for most of the summer through mid-August. If your family would like an additional summer math learning opportunity, please see the math packets below. They contain practice problems and activities tied to the key learning from each grade to ensure students are ready to start strong in the Fall.
Packets can be downloaded and printed or your child can access the packets on a screen and solve the problems on paper or in a notebook. Answer Key packets are linked as well, so that you can support your student and help them to review and check their work.
These packets do not need to come to school in the fall but are instead meant for at home practice.
Entering Grade 5 - Summer Reading Expectations
It is the expectation that all fifth graders will read TWO books over the summer. Ideally, book one should be read in July, and book two should be read in August. (Any additional reading is encouraged but not required).
Students are required to complete the corresponding Book Report Form (linked below) after reading every book for additional practice with reading comprehension and written expression.

Lawn Library has access to audio books, eBooks and online magazines. To access digital resources, click on the SORA link and enter your district-assigned Google username and password. If you don't yet have your Jamestown School Google username and password, stop by the Jamestown Philomenian Library to get your public library card to access Libby, the public library equivalent of SORA. - Jamestown Philomenian Library
