Works Cited help: How to do hanging |
WHERE did your event take place? WHERE did your subject live? Find related museums, historical societies, colleges & universities, and/or libraries in those areas.
Does a secondary source mention a speech, diary, report, etc? Try to find this primary source
Look for: government information (often on .gov sites), libraries, museums, historical societies, birthplaces, historic parks, etc.
These sites will often have information on letters, photographs, articles, etc. on their focuses.
Use bibliographies/works cited at the end of websites or books to find additional information.
Don't get stuck on KEYWORDS. Try different combinations:
