Rock Cycle - Who's My Daddy?

Student directions;

  1. You will complete the interactive assignment from learner.org and learn about the 3 types of rocks
  2. You will be assigned a rock which you will identify as sedimentary, igneous or metamorphic.
  3. You will collect data on it’s characteristics and origin as well as find a picture for use in your poster
  4. You will determine how your rock changed as it went through cycle by determining the parent rock from which your’s came in the other types
  5. You will display your 3 pictures and characteristics in a 16x20 poster of the rock cycle
  6. You will include the rock cycle diagram and all processes will be shown as well as the specific sediment that your rock is composed of
