Students who would like to participate will be given a choice between a punch card which includes all the genre badges (see badges below), or a google slide deck. Each time you read a book in any genre, the badge will be punched or you will enter the name on the correct slide. Students who read 3 books each in 10 genres (for a total of 30 books) will earn the status "Library Ninja", and will be given an enamel Library Ninja Badge! It's okay if it takes more than a school year to achieve Ninja status. Punch cards will be kept in the school library. Check out all the different badges below!!
Bonus: Challenge yourself to read 3 books in every genre!
Need book suggestions? Ask your school librarian or visit one of your nearby public libraries!
You will have to write very small, but it's possible!
Many thanks to Jaime Sharp of Hulafish Creative for help lining up the badges on one page!! This was a job beyond the capabilities of Microsoft Word- thank goodness for kind graphic designer parents!!
