Social Justice Issue Infographic Assignment

Your task is to research a social justice issue that interests you. 

You will create an infographic that outlines your research, stating the specific problem, possible solutions and resources needed to solve the issue. You will utilize database and internet resources to conduct your research, citing each source you have used in correct MLA format.  You will utilize Piktochart to create the infographic and you will upload the finished infographic to the Google Form linked below on this website.

Infographic Requirements:

  1. Clearly define the social justice issue.
  2. Identify all possible solutions to the specific social justice issue.
  3. List the resources required for implementation of the solution.
  4. Cite your research sources in MLA format at the bottom of your infographic.  Use NoodleTools to ensure your citations are correct.

Instructions for Submitting Your PiktoChart Infographic to the Padlet

  1. Create your Infographic using Piktochart. Make sure you include your sources in correct MLA format at the bottom of the image. Use your NoodleTools account to cite your resources correctly.
  2. Name your Infographic.  In the Piktochart program, click on the pencil in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.  Follow the naming protocol: Your First Name Your Last Name - Social Justice Issue Name - Class Period.Piktochart Download settings
  3. DOWNLOAD the Infographic.  Select DOWNLOAD in the upper right-hand corner of the Piktochart program. Use the settings described in this image by selecting PNG and Medium quality.
  4. The image will be saved to your downloads folder on your device.  Upload the image to your specific class Padlet.

Instructions for posting your project to the Padlet

  1. Click on the link above.  
  2. Double click anywhere on the screen to add a post.  You can also click on the PLUS sign on the Padlet.
  3. Type your first and last name at the top of the post.
  4. Upload your Infographic file to the post.
