About the library

  • 3 book checkout limit
  • Books are loaned for 4 weeks, with automatic renewal unless another student is waiting to borrow the book
  • Magazines are loaned for 1 week, with automatic renewal unless another student is waiting to borrow the magazine
  • Students will receive a check in through email about the materials they have checked out during each mid-quarter and end-of-quarter milestones as a renewal reminder and/or reminder to return school library materials when they are done with them
  • Unaccompanied students must have a pass AND sign-in at the circulation desk
  • 1 Self Checkout Station is available

Policies

The KMS School Day, and library hours, are 7:20 am - 2:05 pm. 

All ILL requests made by students and staff from any RILINK library will be filled by Ms. Galipeau.

All titles are available for ILL and may be borrowed for one month.

Anyone from a RILINK library may request materials through the online catalog.

The mission of the Kickemuit Middle School library program is to  is to promote the joy of reading, to nurture the development of lifelong independent learning, to reinforce the curriculum by providing access to information in all forms, and collaborate with staff members to provide engaging learning experiences.
