Example of a Cardboard Challenge

Students work in teams of 2-3 to identify a problem in the community they care about and build a solution using the materials provided.

However, there is a twist. Each student must place one hand behind their back or in their pocket for the duration of the challenge.

This helps them build empathy and encourages them to work together as a team to accomplish the task at hand.
