CRAAP Test for Evaluating Sources
Tips for Searching
- Use quotation marks around your phrase. Ex: "Stonewall Riots"
- Think of other words that pertain to your topic. Ex: Individuals with disabilities -- try American Disabilities Act
- Make sure you are spelling your terms correctly. Ex: Is it "red lining" OR "redlining"
- Maybe look at Wikipedia FIRST to wrap your brain around your topic.
- When Googling your topic, make sure you are using reliable websites. Use the CRAAP test to help decide.
