T1 Lessons and Activities

Students will be able to:

Identify the five major sections of the library
Use Destiny Discover to search for books and place holds
Navigate a web site using headers and footers
Extract information from diagrams and tables

T2 Lessons and Activities

In addition to T1 standards, students will be able to:

Write "unplugged" code
Articulate guidelines for digital citizenship
Take notes as a text is read aloud
State the main idea of a nonfiction text
Participate in RICBA voting

T3 Lessons and Activities

In addition to T1/T2 standards, students will be able to:

Define and identify plagiarism
Use an index to find information in a nonfiction book
Use World Book Online
Create citations for resources used in research
Deliver a booktalk

Responsibility: Participates in class discussions, returns books on time, signs out of laptops
Cooperation: Works with other students on group assignments, uses flexible seating options appropriately, helps keep the library space neat
