Cranston High School West Library: Costello - Word Clouds

Project Details

WordClouds.com and WordArt.com are tools that help create “word clouds” from text that users type. The distinctiveness of the cloud depends on the words that appear frequently in the original text. The letters can be customized to suit the desired style, such as fonts, layout, and color of the letters. The images created can be used in any form. They can be printed on paper or saved to the computer for later use.

Directions:

  • Create a list of words that describe you, your life, and interests on this document. Use the character traits list.

  • The list must have 20 or more words

  • The “WORD CLOUD” must be created online at wordclouds.com or wordart.com

  • Due by Friday, January 31, 2025 (gray) or Tuesday, February 3, 2025 (red)

Paste words or text or upload a document to automatically generate a word cloud or tag cloud. You can also manually input individual words in the word list. Select your font, pick colors as a theme, determine the background and save the result back to your device.
