As a class, I would like us to create a Google Slide presentation on various allusions made in The Secret Life of Bees. Each student will be responsible for creating one slide on one topic. Your slide should include text and images/graphics that explain the topic and its relevance in the book. If you would like to include audio or visual elements you may, as long as they don’t distract from the topic. First, create the slide in class, keeping track of all sources used. I will create a class Google Slide Project so the class will all be working together. You must also email me a correctly MLA formatted Works Cited Page.
Throughout The Secret Life of Bees, Sue Monk Kidd draws upon actual historical events to add authenticity about important turning points in American history.
